Produced & Directed by storyshop principal Joe Myers. Introduced by Mariska Hargitay, "Telling Amy's Story" recounts the story of a domestic violence homicide. This tense story illustrates the patterns that dominate domestic violence relationships and prompts the questions: how can we as outsiders know that domestic violence is occurring in a relationship, and how can we intervene to stop it?

This multi award-winning project aired on public broadcasting stations nationwide, and on the Discovery networks. Tens of thousands of DVDs and many more streaming links were given away free to organizations around the country. Countless screenings and workshops grew out of this project, all in an effort to halt the epidemic of domestic violence.
